Artist Instructions

Step 1. Review the 2026 Artist Guidelines for Exhibition and artist eligibility.

Step 2. Communicate your interest to exhibit, no later than October 3, 2026. UPDATE: Our list for the EXHIBITION is now FULL. All artists have been contacted by E-mail to confirm their space. If anyone is still interested and eligible artists may be added to our WAIT LIST. If space becomes available you will be contacted confirming your addition to the List of Exhibiting Artists.

Step 4. Artists are encouraged to volunteer for a shift at the Festival If unable to volunteer, an Entry Fee of $45 is payable to the Bala Plein Air Group. Fill in volunteer form here.

Step 5. Deliver your ready to hang art work by Tuesday October 13 at 4:00 PM. Hanging wire and back of painting hardware examples – (coming soon ).

• Display Panels & exhibition signage inside the arena.
• Name Plate for each artist.
• Produce consistent labels for each individual artwork.
• Will hang art and setup a stunning display for the public.
• Provide instructions and criteria to the Jurists and award prizes ahead of the opening of the festival.
• Run the scavenger hunt for children, raffle draw and People’s Choice Award voting process during the festival.
• Manage sales transactions during the Festival, wrap and manage pickup of sold art work at end of the festival. Reimburse artists for sales, less agreed upon commission of 15% following the Festival.
• Liaise with Festival Organizing Committee and sponsors on behalf of Exhibiting artists.
