Bala Plein Air sessions are open to everyone, and are free (no charge). Whether visiting Bala, living in Bala or a short drive away you can join us typically on Wednesdays at the scheduled location. If it rains on Wednesday, we will reschedule to Thursday.

Beginners and experienced artists are welcome and we encourage all media – watercolour, oil, acrylic, gauche, pastel, pencil, fabric, digital. Younger people must be accompanied by an adult.
If you are short on basic art supplies see the friendly staff at the Muskoka Emporium Liquidation Centre, 3067 Hwy 169 near the Bala Hotel to get you started.
